What you missed in last night’s intense CNN town hall on gun violence

Understudies conveyed intense inquiries to Marco Rubio. Also, even the NRA appeared.

Seven days after a gunman killed 17 people at a secondary school in Parkland, Florida, CNN facilitated a town lobby with understudies, instructors, guardians, and legislators in Sunrise, Florida.

The town corridor, directed by Jake Tapper, gave survivors and group of the killed casualties the opportunity to defy officials on the issue of school wellbeing, firearm control, and emotional wellness. Florida’s two congresspersons — Democrat Bill Nelson and Republican Marco Rubio — went to, as did Rep. Ted Deutch (R-FL), whose area incorporates Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. In the second 50% of the town corridor, NRA representative Dana Loesch and Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel made that big appearance. (You can watch the full video here.
