Make sure your duplicate content pages are visible to search engines
Take a close look at your duplicate content pages. They may be hidden from view, but they may still have the same URL as your original. They’re not going to rank if you’re hiding them.
How can you know whether they are visible to search engines?
The first step is to use the Google toolbar to examine the current rank of each page on Google.
Use the “Webmaster Tools” tab to view a copy of each URL. For a URL that appears with a lower ranking, it should not be listed below the page name, because it is already ranking in the wrong spot.
At the same time, your overall website rank will be listed in the left-hand column of the “position” graph. The blue line indicates the importance of the page in terms of overall SEO.

What Is Duplicate Content For SEO?
Duplicate content is when multiple people create the same content. This usually happens when someone makes a text box, form box, or picture for another person to create a duplicate. You can get caught up in creating duplicate content if you do not want to make changes to the original content. Duplicate content is used to test a keyword. A good SEO pro will not create duplicate content, but they do want to see how your content performs to see how they can improve the ranking of your site.

Why is it so important to spend money?
It’s important to spend money
Try not to spend more than 20% of your total budget on PPC.
If you have more than 20% of your budget being spent on PPC, consider focusing more of your efforts on content marketing.
Remember, content is expensive
If you focus all of your efforts on one or two keywords, then Google may give your content less space on its search results pages.
Try to avoid doing this.
Create unique titles and meta descriptions for your duplicate content pages
There’s nothing more frustrating than creating unique and valuable content then having it devalued by a duplicate content policy. Having duplicate content on the Internet – which is increasing – is not a good thing. In fact, it may mean that you don’t really have a competitive advantage and you should either clean up your duplicate content or create new pages.
In a recent post, I showed you how to identify duplicate content and point it out to Google. There’s a lot of work to do with duplicate content, but we can help you identify the most important duplicate content factors – so we can start creating content which is worth ranking in the search results.
Create unique anchor text for your duplicate content pages
Create unique anchor text for your duplicate content pages
A popular, yet often overlooked practice in online marketing is duplicate content (DCP) where a page has been copied on multiple platforms in multiple variations. There’s no doubt that this practice increases your chances of ranking on Google, but it’s important to establish best practices that ensure your original content remains at the top.
Whenever you write a piece of content, make it unique and clear about its origin on every platform. While duplicate content often results in an unnatural structure, you can avoid this with two simple practices:
Start off with unique words and content that’s focused on your target demographic.
Use keywords in your title tags, meta description tags, and page tags
Lossless compression
Descriptive titles
Use long tail keywords
Scrobble images when robots delete them
No duplicate content
Add alt text
Add image sitemap
Use H2 titles
Stop 404 errors
