Metro Manila has a robust economy that comprises 16 cities with Manila as the seat of government. The National Capital Region (NCR) has proven its worth in the global market to be competitive and international standard where foreigners invest and grow their businesses in the country. Makati for instance is the Financial Capital of the Philippines with hundreds of companies and multinational corporations that are part of the 100 top-performing companies in the Philippines. It also includes some of the business districts in the Metro like Ortigas Center and Bonifacio Global City (BGC) which is also home to world-class industries that are waiting for you to be a part of it. This article will talk about the companies that promote good company culture and growth needed for every aspiring employee to have a bright future ahead of them.

    Makati City

As I said before, Makati City is an attractive place for someone who wants to jumpstart their career. The Makati Central Business District (CBD) is home to the finest companies in the city such as PLDT, BDO Corporate Center, and several financial institutions. The city is also well interconnected to the rest of Metro Manila by major roads such as Ayala Avenue and Makati Avenue, interconnected to main thoroughfares passing through several key cities in NCR.

Public transportation and pedestrian-friendly infrastructures are also set in place with underpasses and footbridges to ensure the safety of commuters and pedestrians alike. If you want affordable public transportation One Ayala, a bus terminal is just under MRT-3 Ayala Station. In Makati City, everything is within reach and even after work you can chill and unwind in shopping centers like Greenbelt and Glorietta which are just around the corner. Suppose you want to have an escape from nature.

In that case, several parks are also accessible around the business district including Ayala Triangle Gardens, Jaime C. Velasquez Park (Salcedo Park), Washington SyCip Park, and Legaspi Active Park. Ayala Center also has a park of their own, after a casual stroll or shopping in the area you can sit down and pause with the trees and water features of Greenbelt Park.

    Taguig City

When someone says Taguig, the first thing that comes to their mind is Bonifacio Global City (BGC). BGC is a robust and vibrant business and lifestyle hub at the heart of the city. It boasts its tree-lined streets and towering skyscrapers that change the skyline of Taguig. The mixed-use development also prides itself on tourist destinations and hangout destinations that are worth visiting such as parks, museums, and high-end shopping centers namely SM Aura Premier, Mitsukoshi Mall, Uptown Mall, and One Bonifacio High Street.

Now that you had a view of the scene let’s now have a list of companies that you can see in Taguig. Some of the companies that are currently headquartered in the area are as follows: Google Philippines, Globe Telecom, FoodPanda, Aboitiz Power, and so much more. There is also exciting news in terms of public infrastructure. The Metro Manila Subway Station will connect Metro Manila more than ever and Taguig is a part of it. To ease the public transportation scene Market Market will be transformed to be a transportation hub to give way for the Metro Manila Subway Station. Through this accessibility, commuters can now have a train ride that stretches from Valenzuela to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) perfect for someone who is always on the go and traveling to that meeting quickly and easily.

    Mandaluyong City

Mandaluyong is the heart of Metro Manila. There are a series of public transportation networks and major thoroughfares that converge in the city. Accessibility is one of its greatest strengths. Ortigas Center is also situated inside the city and the finest companies are headquartered in one of the most attractive business districts in the country. A few of the well-regarded businesses in the city are the following: Meralco, Bank of Commerce, San Miguel Corporation, and more. The companies I mentioned are part of the top 100 companies in the Philippines which not just transformed the Ortigas Center but also the standing of the country as one of the most robust economies in Asia.

The most important thing also for a business is that it can be accessed by employees, clients, and investors. Mandaluyong City is accessible both by roads and public transportation. The main avenue to the city is through Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) which links the towns from Caloocan to Pasay City. It also has several train stations such as Ortigas Center, Shaw, and Boni Stations all under MRT-3. There is also an upcoming project on Ortigas Avenue, the MRT-4 which will connect the border of Ortigas Center between Quezon City and Mandaluyong to the center of Rizal Province. The project is already under construction and they set to open a partial operation in 2025. The launch date of the whole MRT-4 will be in 2028.

    Quezon City

Quezon City is the biggest among the 16 National Capital Region (NCR) cities. The city consists of 3 bustling business districts: Quezon City Central Business District (CBD) or Triangle Park, Araneta City in Cubao, and Eastwood City in Barangay Bagumbayan. Quezon City boasts itself with interconnecting major thoroughfares and public transportation hubs that help both residents and professionals travel to their destinations. Apart from that there are also train stations and transport terminals all around the city, especially in Cubao.

Along the streets of the district, you can eye rows of bus terminals that are traveling through nearby and farthest provinces. Some of the renowned companies in the city are Accenture, IBM Philippines, Emerson, Sutherland, and Reed Elsevier. Same with the previous cities that I mentioned, Quezon City will also have a huge transformation for its commuters There are 3 most awaited projects to look out for in the city. One is MRT-7 which will traverse from San Jose Del Monte Bulacan to the heart of Quezon City. It will have 14 stations from Bulacan and pass through Commonwealth Avenue will make a last stop to Union Grand Central Station. Two is no other than the meet-up point of railway networks, Union Grand Central Station is an ambitious project where LRT-1, MRT-3, MRT-7, and the Metro Manila Subway will all meet. Train stations meet under one roof for the benefit of commuters and are a huge help for the public going to work, school, or just travel.

Metro Manila pulsates with a vibrant energy, a charm that truly captivates tourists from all around the globe. While you are walking in the streets of the Metro you can see foreigners commuting beside you or walking along the busy streets of Makati and Taguig. Metro Manila has a lot to offer that is perfect for someone who wants to join a company in an attractive and prime location in the city with exciting places to explore with colleagues. The Metro buzzes with a sense of constant rush and energy, making it an ideal place to work and build your career.
