1. Don’t Scrub Carpet Stains
One of the biggest mistakes people make when carpet cleaning stubborn carpet stains is scrubbing at the stain.
When you spill something on your carpet, soak up the excess liquid with paper towels. Then blot the stain until all the moisture has come out. Scrubbing pushes the stain deeper into the carpet fibers and will leave permanent damage.
2. Some Spills Need Freezing
Did you know that if you spill something like chocolate, chewing gum, or candle wax on your carpet, you can freeze it?
If these spills solidify, you can hold an ice cube on them until they freeze. You can then use something solid like a spoon to hit the frozen patch to break the pieces up. Then you can vacuum away the crumbs.
3. Use Club Soda to Remove Red Wine Stains
