Improper route

About “GOP nears finish line for tax overhaul plan” (Site A1, Friday), I assistance comprehensive tax reform, but I do not aid the “Tax Cuts and Employment Act.” This irresponsible monthly bill provides a minimum of $1 trillion for the deficit. The development with the monthly bill fully still left out rank-and-file Republicans and all Democrats.

The proposal depends on magical contemplating economic development as a way to fake there will never be substantial will increase to the deficit and personal debt and uses gimmicks to make it look such as the variations in legislation price tag less in the future.

As a small business

proprietor, I’m extremely disappointed by the tax plans being discussed by the U.S. House and Senate this week. Despite promises to provide a boost to small businesses along with the middle class, the proposals aren’t actually focused on helping small businesses and certainly won’t make the tax system more fair or streamlined. The proposed tax

program will cut the corporate rate to 21 percent, which will only benefit the 5 percent of small businesses registered as corporations, when giving a huge payout to larger businesses. Even worse, these tax cuts are not offset by closing costly corporate loopholes that put us at a disadvantage and present a huge drag on the economy.

Most small business owners I know are paying their fair share, and they want tax reform to generate sure large corporations are also doing their part.Small businesses are always cited as the backbone

from the economy. But the way this tax bill was written, it seems more skewed toward corporations and special interests. Before sending a final

bill towards the president’s desk, Congress should listen to small business owners and pursue tax reform that levels the actively playing field and is good for the economy Read More.
