The Marvel cinematic universe: it must have taken courage to not only plan a series of movies but an entire cinematic universe in this day and age, well it’s safe to say it has paid off. The MCU is a beloved franchise among kids and adults alike and a profitable one at that. With the blockbuster release of Captain Marvel Phase, 3 of MCU is nearing its end with only avengers infinity war part 2 and captain marvel left for our viewing pleasure. As for now Avengers: Endgame is the final movie of Phase 3 which is going to release in 2019. But as for any profitable franchise phase, 4 is already in the works. So let’s stray away from the hype of phase 3 finale for a while and shed some light on phase 4 since our attention should be divided:  balanced as all things should be…

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME (July 5th, 2019)

In Avengers: Infinity war we watched many of our beloved Super Heroes die, but the death of Spider-Man left a mark on us. Though Ironman played a major role as Spider-Man’s mentor in the First film, Tom has confirmed Ironman won’t appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Black widow was one of the original 6 members of Avengers and survived in Avengers: Infinity War. So, the Black Widow may be getting a long overdue solo movie. Even Though we can’t say it is definitely happening as it is not confirmed by the studio. Still, Chris Evans and Black widow actress Scarlett Johansson have been dropping hints that a solo Black Widow movie is underway at MCU.

  1. STRANGE 2 (TBD)

Dr. Strange had a very crucial role in the Avengers: Infinity War, as he saw Fourteen million six hundred and five ways to face Thanos, and saw only one way to win. We can assume that way was to sacrifice himself in order to save Tony Stark aka Ironman.

MCU has not officially confirmed a sequel for 2016 Dr. strange movie, But the director Scott Derrickson has confirmed that he already has a script and a villain for the second movie.

Kevin Feige (MCU head) has already confirmed that the second part of the 2018 Blockbuster Black Panther is definitely happening. Kevin Feige hopes that he can work again with Director Ryan Coogler to work on the sequel.

T’challa died during the fight at Wakanda in Avengers: Infinity war but we hope that he returns for Black Panther 2.

These are the movies which are announced or will be announced to be featured in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4.

The Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was tremendously successful and James Gunn (Director of the first 2 films) has revealed that the third film of this franchise will release in 2020.
