How Does SMS Work?

  1. The compilation of the messages sent in an SMS between the transmitter and receiver is done through binary code. The length of the message, the timestamp, the message, and the destination phone number are all parts of the standard message format  XPlayer.
  2. The minute details of the SMS are described by the PDU (Protocol Data Unit) and it includes a string of hexadecimal octets and semi-decimal octets. It is easier to transmit the hexadecimal code and detect it at the receiver.
